THE GOLDEN RULE In this day and age, we really shouldn't have to beat this rule into the ground, but here we are. There are no circumstances nor situations in which crossing the IC and OOC line is okay. We will not tolerate that here in the slightest, and we will not operate on the three-strike rule. If there are complaints (and valid proof) that a writer is blurring the IC/OOC line they will receive a warning, if it happens again you will be removed. IC drama is great and can be rather enjoyable, but please keep it to that realm and do not let it bleed OOC. If you are experiencing issues with a fellow writer that cannot be worked out civily among the parties involved, please contact the moderators dropbox and we will be happy to assist you to the best of our abilities. There is absolutely no tolerance here for bullies, if there is valid proof of you being an absolute jackass to another writer out of character, you will not be given a warning, you will be straight up removed. We are all adults here, so please, let everybody act like we're grown up. THE APPLICATION Prior to submitting your character's application, we ask that you please review everything including our FAQ's page for any questions that may be answered there. All play-by claims must be of legal age (18+) and all playable characters must be 18+. Make sure your friends only post and info/ooc contact post are properly backdated and your examples are dropped off in the dropbox (examples must consist of at least one scene and one journal entry/narrative). Character info should consist of five (5) or more detailed facts or a minumum of three (3) paragraphs so we can see that you have a solid understanding of the character you are applying with. Journals must be in character with no extra letters or numbers, preferably no underscores as well. We as the mod team reserve the right to decline any application/writer that we feel may not be a fit for this community - a deleted application means you've been rejected, you are more than welcome to comment the dropbox for an inqury as to why. Upon acceptance you will have 72 hours to post your character's IC introduction here, and please drop off your monthly activity in the appropriate section of the member's area. MATURE CONTENT This community involves the lives of a 1% motorcycle club, their familes, and associates, they're not all innocent individuals. There will be dark themes within the game wide plots, and within character histories so please keep that in mind when looking to join. That said, please have consideration for those in the community and use appropriate trigger warnings on narratives, entries, threads, character info, etc. While darker storylines are welcomed here, we do also want to protect our writers. Furthermore, while we encourage threads to be placed in our IC subcomm, if it's going to be purely smut based, please keep that in your journal. We all love a good smut scene, really, but not everybody wants to read it. If your character wishes to send not safe for work texts/images/etc to another character, please put "NSFW" in the subject line for the sake of the other writer. Nothing is more awkward than opening up a random dick gif with a coworker/family member right beside you. Trust us, we've been there. The only thing this community will not tolerate is pedophilia or in-game child abuse, these will be grounds for immediate removal. Also, please keep in mind that all played-by claims and characters need to be of legal age (18+) while following the general rule of keeping the character within five (5) years (+/-) of their claim. MC RULES As stated in the FAQ's, currently only the Fallen Angels are available for play. Every member of the MC has gone through a process in order to obtain their patch. Members can become a hangaround as early as sixteen (16) years old, but will not be considered for prospecting until they are eighteen (18). Only children of patched members may bybass the hangaround stage. At eighteen (18) they can become a prospect if a patched member is willing to sponsor them, the prospect stage will last no less than one year - club kids get a bit of a break and can have a prospect period as short as six months (nothing shorter). Once fully patched in, members are required to be a patch for a minimum of three (3) years before they can be considered for minor leadership roles (sorry, you're not going to be a patch for only three years and then become president). If your character is in a leadership position and you are removed due to inactivity, you will be allowed to retain the characters position the first time. If it happens a second time (consecutively or not) your character will be demoted and relegated back to patch status. In the event that happens, your character will be eligible to be voted back into position after one activity cycle has completed (one month) pending the position is still available. If removal due to inactivity happens a third time, your character will forfeit any future eligibility to be voted back into a leadership position. Leadership positions will be considered first come first serve until January 1, 2020. After that they will be voted upon in-game and any positions not filled during that voting period will reopen for incoming applications.
